Highlight shortages, surplus and initiate contingency plan. - Review weekly/monthly/quarterly production plans in line with forecast and priority changes. - Manage MPS (Master Production Schedule) and CRP (Capacity Requirement Planning), analyze constraints and resolve with stakeholders. - Load MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and identify optimum inventory level. Prepare quarterly buy-plan. Initiate purchase requisition as needed. Highlight material issues. - Play a significant role in successful implementation and transition to ERP system’s enhanced version. - Release and maintain work orders, part numbers and BOM (bill of materials) and perform ERP transactions. - Collaborate with cross functional teams on quality, new product introduction, engineering changes, RMA (return material authorization), inbound and outbound shipments and cost reduction initiatives. - Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy. Handle monthly cycle counts, conduct variance reconciliation in a timely manner and implement corrective actions. - Initiate continuous process improvements in day-to-day planning and execution. - Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications Include: - Diploma or degree in engineering/ science or business administration with at least 5 years of Supply Chain Planning experience in a manufacturing environment. - Supply Chain or APICS certification preferred - Well versed in ERP system particularly MRP (Materials Requirement Planning). - Mature, high level of initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision - Strong communication, analytical, negotiation and presentation skills - Good interpersonal skills and works well with cross functional teams - Must be proficient in Microsoft office. The OM Specialist will work closely with the Sales Administration team, Account Managers, Logistics, Finance, Legal, Operations and Marketing to deliver world class customer support, ensure immediate response to Customer requests, provide reliable data for reporting and planning purposes, actively participate in quote-to-cash, cross-functional process improvements.   Description: - Be the single point of contact for quote to cash inquiries and problem solving; escalation and cross-functional solution of any issues/requests - Information on pricing, promotions, any specific terms - Escalation triggers and cross-functional teamwork for Customer satisfaction purposes. - Documentation of Customer feedback for audit and analysis purposes - Proactive Customer relationship management (Terms and conditions review and updates, order status, invoices, collections, documentation) - Provide quotations including response to tenders (potential future stage) - Be responsible for order validation, acceptance, and entry (in partnership with Legal and Finance) for products, Time and Material services and service contracts/training - Be responsible for order management within pre-negotiated and pre-approved terms. Standard BioTools is looking for a Field Applications Specialist II based in Singapore.  You will provide remote and on-site customer training and applications support, facilitate instrument sales by conducting technical seminars and product demonstrations, and manage customer sites with the goal of maximizing use of the CyTOF® Mass Cytometry platform in the field. If you enjoy bringing new technologies to market, embrace challenge, and work well in a flexible and multidisciplinary environment, then this position may be for you.   RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct on-site and in-house customer training courses. - Provide phone-, email-, and in-person customer applications support, including troubleshooting issues related to user technical skill, instrument operation, experimental design, and data analysis. - Assist in the creation and review of technical materials (manuals, application notes, presentations). - Conduct new product evaluation/testing with R&D and beta test sites. - Provide constructive personal and customer feedback to R&D team. - Create and maintain support information in the company enterprise database. - Communicate project status, issues to management, users and staff. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • M.S. in life sciences is required. Ph.D. and strong immunology background preferred. - 4+ years of hands-on experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, or cell biology lab is required. - Previous experience in field applications support is desired. - Skilled in troubleshooting software, instrumentation, applications, and analysis of flow cytometry and/or mass spectrometry platforms. - High level bioinformatics skills are highly desirable. - Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint. - Able to travel at least 50% of the time. - Excellent organizational skills and technical writing ability. - Strong communication skills and experience delivering scientific presentations. - Commitment to customer service. - Independent thinker with excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills. - Collaborative attitude within and outside own discipline.
